Material type

Hi,

In material creation(MM01) There is a field Material type, If I click that field it displaying Material Type description but not displaying 4 Character Material Typer Name.

For Example:- DIEN Services

NLAG Non-Stock Material

Like this..

Could u plz suggest me what settings I have to do to display both Material type name as well as Material Type description.

Hi,

From the main screen choose the 'customizing of local layout' icon (Alt+F12).

then

Options,

Expert Tab,

select/deselect the 'show keys in All dropdowns list'

Hi,

In the SAP easy access scren go to "Customised Local Layout" button which is in the extreme right button in line with the Command field Near the button "?".Here choose " Option" tab and than choose "Expert" tab .Here check the box "Show Keys in all dropdown list" .This will display the technical names of the field.

Choose the last icon on the right, called 'Customize Local Layout' or push alt+F12. Choose 'Options' and on 'Expert' tab choose 'Show Keys in All Dropdown Lists'.

in sap easy access screen press ALT +F12

here u will get options go to options>expert tab here

then in control box tick both options

press ok

it will solve ur problem

Hi,

on the main sap screen go to top menu and

Click on EXTRAS - SETTINGS - Here tick diplsy technical names

this is will enable to codes and descriptions

Now for inside any transaction if you want to see. clcik on customise local layout alt + F12 and then in the expert tab tick show keys in all drop down list and sort items by key
