Hi,
Pls find details about Material Staging :
Material Staging
Use
If you are using Warehouse Management, you can use this function to transport materials to production bin locations, that are grouped into supply areas.
One of the main advantages of this functionality, is that employees on the shop floor can request the material required in the production process. The system generates a transfer requirement in the Warehouse Management System. Warehouse management is then responsible for staging the required materials by creating a transfer order from the transfer requirement. This occurs in the normal WM processing.
Prerequisites
In order to use this functionality, you have to set up a WM / Production Planning interface.
Features
Material staging offers you the following features:
· You can simulate material staging.
· You can execute material staging.
· You can display the material staging results.
To use the staging function, an order has to at least be partially released, at least one operation has to have been released.
You can start material staging with WM integration in the following ways:
· In the production order, choose Goto ® WM pick list. The system prompts you through the dialog steps.
· In the production order, choose Order ® Functions ® Material staging ® Simulate or Proceed. The remaining processing steps are carried out in the background.
· Material staging is automatically triggered during order release. You specify in Customizing, whether the function is carried out automatically, or whether it is triggered manually.
In Customizing (production scheduling profile), you can choose the following options for creating transfer requirements:
· You can activate automatic staging. The interface must be set up.
· You can specify that only complete transfer requirements are to be created per operation. This means that for a released operation there must be a transport requirement for every component.
· You can specify that the committed quantity is taken into account for staging.
Hope this helps.

Tejas

Dear Prashant Patil,
Are you using WM and WM-PP interface?
1. Material staging in WM w/o WM-PP interface
- you book GI for the components as normally in IM (mvt 261)
- the GI will result in negative stock in WM in interim storage type 914, parallely you get TR (can be checked in LB10)
- you process the TR (in this way TO will be created) and you move the goods to 914+dynamic bins
2. Material staging with WM-PP interface (pick parts)
- you create and release the PrdOrd > save
- TR is created that can be seen in LB10
- processing the TR you move the pick parts from the normal bin to 100 + dynamic bin
- when you book GI for components they will be consumed from 100+dynamic bin
Please consider that in process 1 there's a GI befor material staging, in process 2 there's no GI before material staging, it comes after that.
The processes may differ from this based on your settings / scenario.

Csaba

Dear,
Pick list is used to determine which components have not yet been issued from stock to production order and to carry out the goods issue. this will used only when u issue the goods manually to order. Use T.Code CO27
Generally Pullist is used in repetative manufucturing, where there is no enouch stock at production storage (PL1) location for component , u can tarsnfer the stock from store location (SL1)
directly.
For that system creates replenishment proposals & transfer the stock from the store directly using movement type 311. T. Code MF60
Hope it will help you.

Dear Prashant,
Pick List
Pick List is executed using T code CO27,This is generally used in discrete scenario's.
Pick list is used to determine which components have not yet been issued from stock to production
order and to carry out the goods issue. This will be used only when u issue the goods manually to order.
If u have set the backflush indicator for the components then no need to carryout pick List.
Pull List
Pull List is executed using T Code MF60,Generally Pullist is used in Repetative
manufucturing, where there is no enough stock at production storage location of a component and you
can transfer the stock from the required store location. Here the system creates replenishment proposals
& transfer the stock from the store directly using movement type 311.
