Livelink Document cannot be opened

Hi experts,

We have a problem to view archive document. The document is archive from our site office and they also have problem to view the document. This happen to certain site only.I found out that the error 20539 is windows error but we are not sure how to fix it. The error is:

Hi,

Check the Archive server path where the documents are archived from that office site. This type of errors comes when the Archive server path is given wrong in Administrator Client for the viewer.

Simple terms, The document is archived in some Archive path and the Windows viewer is trying to view the file from another Archive Server path.

Can u help me on how to check the Archive Server path. We are quite confident we did the installation correctly.

Nanie. Sometime this error comes when your viewer is not pointing to Correct Archive server. Please check if you viewer is pointing to correct archive server. You can check that in registry settings.

Also , have  you installed all the lastest patches? I had  this problem with viewer serveri 10 even though all  settings were correct. Once i installed the lastest patch the issue got fixed.

Also please double check if this document is infact reached your archive server or not. You can check this in ds_doc table of archive server  with the document id .

Sometime the object get created in SAP but the imae does not get stored in the archive server. Check the document pipeline and see if the documet is stuck there.
