Hi:

We have some issues with a Maintenance Plan that we made the scheduling (IP10) but for some reason the system don't create the call. Other thing is what mean "New start Save to Call" in the "Scheduling type/Status" area. Thanks for the help.

Hi,

When you save the Maintenance plan in IP10  then the save to call should change to called , is it not happening ? . I tried and it does happen my system during save  . Please let us know if it does not happens even after Save,

SAP documentation on Status :

Description of Scheduling Type and Call Status

Specifies under which scheduling type the maintenance call is found and the current status of that call.

The following statuses are possible:

  • Called
      The system has generated a

maintenance call object

  • (for example, maintenance order) for the call.
  • Save to call
  • A maintenance call object is generated as soon as you save the maintenance plan.
  • Blocked
  • All call dates which the system has generated for this maintenance plan are blocked. The system will not generate any maintenance call objects for the dates in this maintenance plan until the calls are unblocked by a status change.
  • Confirmed
  • The maintenance call has been confirmed.
  • Skipped
  • The maintenance call has been skipped. No maintenance call object is generated for this call.
  • On hold
  • The system only generates a maintenance call object on the call date. Until this date, the call has the status "On hold".
  • Completed
  • If all the maintenance call objects for a planned date have been confirmed, the maintenance call obtains the status 'Completed'. This means that for this status, the following are the decisive factors: For orders - the technical completion, for notifications - the completion, for service entry sheets - the acceptance

Hi:

Thanks for your time. We tried in the test area and everytime we made save the system moved to called. But for this especific maintenance plan the system said save to call. Right now we have the maintenance plan saved but the system said: New Start SAve To Call. We try to recreate this error and we cant. This only happened in two maintenance plan. We verified all the variants and has the same like the orther that we create. This can be a system bug?

This is the message that we received but the thing that we cant understand is how the system can show the message New Start Save To Call after the first save when the person created the MP scheduling.

Hi,

The call is on hold, unless it shows Save to call and saving Ip10, you cannot create order.

As per this plan, call date of the order is 28.02.2016. Order will be generated on that date.
