Hi,

in Transaction MI24, I am getting an error:

Reason 0003 for movement type 701 not defined

Message no. M7688

Any ideas?

Dear,

In OMBS u have activate the Control Reason

So maintai it Against the Mvt Type in OMBS.

Then ur Problem will be resolved.

In control reason(+) is activated.

Could you please be more specific with maintaing against the movement type in OMBS?

Dear,

If it is + then The Reason Code is Activated.If it is activated then you are bound to Enter the Reson code while Posting the Physical Inventory in MI07.

You maintain Different Reason code against the Movement Type.

I did enter a different movement type and now i am getting another error:

Valuation with material cost estimate: error with product "SP1000300"

Any ideas?

Below are the details:

Message no. KE350

Diagnosis

In Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), the system tried to valuate a line item using the current standard cost estimate.

In order to determine the current plan period, the system needs to read the valuation segment of the material master.

The system has found that the current plan period is not filled forproduct "99100000000300" in plant "1030".

Display material (View: Costing)

The system looked for the material cost estimate using costing key "001", as defined in the Customizing settings for CO-PA.

System Response

The document cannot be processed.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

In SPRO - MM - Inventory management & Phy. Inventory - Movement Types - Record Reason for Goods Movement

follow the above mentioned path and then click on "REASON FOR MOVEMENT" and here maintain your reason against your movement type

It seems you have to define reason 3 for movement type 701 in OMBS transaction.
