Hi All,

In System Initialization>General Settings>Path Tab all paths coming by default are wrong(no existance of such folders). When I am changing the path and update, it's showing an error message and the application is getting closed.

For Example,

Bydefault-

Microsoft Word Templates Folder = C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\WordDocs\English\

But I want change it to-

Microsoft Word Templates Folder =C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\English

Hi,

Pls map the absolute path in the server. So that the path choosen in the general setting would be

<server>\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\WordDocs

similarly map for excel,picture,etc..

Hi,

In
<server>\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\ directory those folders were (Word, excel, bitmap etc) were not created by default. So I tried to change it in the client path of the server machine(see my prev post for the path).

Again I tried one more case. I created all those folders inside
<server>\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\directory but still the problem was not solved.

Hi,

In the server itself the path must be existing,if you have installed in C drive then

C:\Program Files\SAP\ExclDocs is the path whihch has to be mapped in the SAP Server.

If you cant find that folder then you may need to reinstall the SAP client in the server.

Hi,

Thanx for the reply but the answer is not very useful.

The path you have stated

C:\Program Files\SAP\ExclDocs

doesn't exists in any case.

The solution for re-installing is the last option I believe.

Can anybody give me a proper reason and solution if my problem is clear.

Hi,

Follow these steps

Step1:In the server go to Run->
<server name>

Step2:The shared folder win will open

Step3:Go to Tools->Map network drive,

Step4:Then in the folder list box map the path and then select finish

Step5:Now go to sap b1,in the general setting->Path tab->Choose the path from the browse,

Step6:Here you need the select the drive which we have mapped in the Step4.

I think this will help you

Hi,

I'll use this thread because I am with a problem related to this one.

I have defined the folders path on the server. Now I want to see an invoice on pdf on a client machine and it says the path does not exist.

Is there any way to define the same folders to all the client machines?

Thanks,

Pedro
