Fields are missing in Basic Data 2 Tab

Hi Gurus

Below mentioned two fields are missing in Basis Data 2 tab in Material.

1) DG Packaging status

2) Packaging Code

If i check in SE 11 all MARA tables are maintaining for these two fields . please guide me the procedure of customization of these two fields.

iam trying to do through SHD0 T.Code , but how to find the Screen variant

Hi Balajee,

First go to transaction MM02 basic data 2 view,  then go to System--> Status from main menu.

In Repository Data there will be additonal field called "Transaction variant" if it is active along with name.

if exists then copy that value and try in SHD0. Hope this helps

there are up to 6 different field selection references that interact and control whether a field is display only, hidden or mandatory.

Hi balaji,

first please check which material type it is and check which field reference assigned in general data in the below path

Spro-Logistic general-->basic settings--> material type-->Define Attributes of Material Types

For that Field reference check the particular field status(hide) if hided you have to make it optional (or) required.

Path:

Spro-Logistic general--material master --Field Selection -- Assign Fields to Field Selection Groups

Spro-Logistic general--material master --Field Selection -- Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens

Thank for your reply

Material type "FERT" and it is already assigned. screen shot is attached

Fields were already assigned  to Field Selection Groups

All Field status are in "Optional"

If i was checked in the Material "basic Data 2' view only 4 fields are displaying out of 6

DG Packaging Status & Packing code fields are displayed ,

Hi,

Please make in Manadatory just for testing purpose and then check weather it is appearing are not in MM02.

Since the field attribute has priorirty as mentioned below.

M - Mandatory

H - Hide

O - Optional

D - Display

and the attributes can be difeined at many combination may be in some case it is supressing .

Please check below config in your system .

spro-Logistic general--material master --Field Selection -- Assign Fields to Field Selection Groups

and also pls check

spro-Logistic general--material master --Field Selection -- Maintain Field Selection for Data Screens

if you field are not mapped then please map them as per required.

These two fileds are already maintained in Customisation , i was checked again the two processes and found fields are mapped.

You have to activate business function OPS_EHS_CI_1  in SFW5 tcode, which is a part och enhancement pack 3.
