Hello all,
I want to do basic date scheduling for the planned order & production order.
I am selecting Scheduling type as Basic date scheduling during MRP run.
Also I have maintain Scheduling margin key(1day 1day 1day 1day) in material master.
when I run MRP & check the result, Scheduling is happened without considering the scheduling margin key.
So my question is "Does system consider Scheduling margin key during basic date scheduling or not...? "
If yes then does it have any configuration to consider Scheduling margin key during basic date scheduling?
Thanks & Regards,
Ashish Gunjal

Yes, the Float Bef. Prdn will impact the basic start date in the production order.
For example:
1. In this production order, Schedule Margin key = blank, which means = 0.
The start date = Requirement date - Inhouse date = 2023.09.25 - 2days= 2023.09.22

Requirement date = 2023.09.25

Inhouse date = 2 days

2. Then we set the Schedule Margin key = 001, Float Bef. Prdn = 2 Days.
The start date = Requirement date - Inhouse date - Float Before Production = 2023.09.25 - 2days - 2days = 2023.09.19

According to the example, which is running MRP, and then transfer the planned order to production order, not create the production order manually.
