work flow is use to automate the business, in DMS it is used to get the document approved buy the supiroir. The basic configuration required to activate workflow are as below
1. Define document types, with the status network
Ex: How many levels of approval u required?
2. Maintain Z tables for which status whos the responsible person to approve, if HR organization structure is maintained then system will read approvers fron org structure.
3. Create WF template, when WF should trigger, for which document, for which status and for which event(ex: for save doc)
