Dear Bhakta vatsalam,
MS02 - Long-Term Planning: Single Item,Multi Level.Where after giving the demand for a material in MD61 in an inactive version &
assigning that particular material to a Planning scenario, LTP run will be carried out for that material.
Simulative planned orders are obtained for that material which can be seen in MS04.
MD02 - Single Item,Multi Level run - MRP for a material which has got PIR's in active version and we get planned orders for these
materials which can be processed for further activities.

Hi,
In MS02 you will get planned orders. But this planned orders can not be convert to production orders. Because this is simulation run.
With tcode MS64, you have to copy the version to demand management. After that req plan will be transferred to MD62.
In MD02 , it is a regular process. With this also you can plan for 5 months. Planned orders can be convert to prod order.

Dharma
