Depreciation Key rules - Calculation Method

Hello SAP Community,

For these depreciation keys : LINS, LINC,LINB, LINI and SLIN, the depreciation is calculated on a monthly basis so they give the same result but we don't know in which case we have to use one instead of the other.

Could you please explain what is the difference between these dep. keys ?
