Data Source for non-root nodes

Hello Experts,

A custom BO has node "Item" [0,n] and I would like to see the data in my custom analytic report. I created a custom Data Source based on the node "Item" and next a custom Analytic Report, but the report never show any data (while query by item shows all item data).

I made data sources and analytic reports based on the root node and they all worked fine. What could be wrong with a Data Source based on a non-root node?

The cause was that a Data Source sees only data created after the Data Source was created. It is a Data Source feature.
