Hi All.

Everytime I start a clients Outlook Integration.. the Create Default Template pops up.

It has been created, because if you say create it asks if you want to overwrite what's in the folders.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of it.

Thanks

Hello Jerusha,

If the error is due to the reason "Missing Outlook integration templates", then try the following.

Refer to actual SAP Note 861055 for the same information.

The templates folder is created during the server installation part of the outlook integration installation. It contains the layout files for the default snapshot templates that are created at initialization. If you did not run the server installation before initialization on the client, they will be missing.

You can easily repeat the step of template creation after running the server installation:

1. Start the Addon Outlook Integration from Business one.

2. Choose/Administration/Outlook Integration/Define Snapshot Templates

3. Select "Create Default Templates" from the "Goto" menu. This will repeat the procedure that could not be started because of the missing layout files.

NOTE :For further details on this please refer to the online help. The online help contains information concerning the creation of default snapshot templates.

It can be found within the help tree under "Associating Contacts with SAP Business One Data" -> "Snapshots for Business Partners / Contact Persons" -> "Snapshot Templates"-> "Defining Snapshot "Defining Snapshot Templates"

Best Regards

Satish

Yes, you can overwrite the template folders that are already there. When you hit yes to all it will update and then you can x out of it. Next time you start SAP the create template pop up will disappear.
