Conversion UOM

Hi Experts,

Good Day!

I have an item that we purchase on PAIL Unit of Measure but we goods issue this Item on LITERS. The conversion is 1 Pail = 18 Liters (0.06 = 1 Liter). What we did is we multiply the liter to .06 (example 1 liter * 0.06). If the Users withdraw 10 Liters of this item we input 0.60 (10 Liters x .06) on the quantity on Goods Issue. The problem is they need to multiply manually...Is there any automatic conversion for this?

HI Chard

You can Define the UOM as per Your Reqd.

For EX:

Purchase UOM = Kgs. (Item Master Data->Purchase Data Tab->Purchasing UOM)

Sales UOM = PCs. (Item Master Data->Sales Data Tab->Sales UOM)

Inventory UOM = PCs. (Item Master Data->Stock Data Tab->Stock UOM)

If I guise 2 PCs = 1 Kgs.

then

Items per Purchase Unit = 2 (Item Master Data->Purchase Data Tab->Items per Purchase Unit)

when you purchase 10 Kgs then system will Inward 20 PCs in Stock Data Tab, You can sales in PCs and you can see the inventory status also in PCs.
