Hi All,

In consignment process when GR MIGO/101 Account document not triggered why? And when we do MBIA/201K or MB1B/411K account document triggered?

Hi,

Consignment process involves of placing a thing in the hand of another, but retaining the ownership until the goods are sold or used.In vendor consignment process, material stock is supplied by vendor( supplier) & just placed at your company premises, It remains the property of the supplier until  it is actually used or consumed and should not be included in the value of the stock till it consumed.

Consignment process, material stock is received from vendor( supplier) in t.code:MIGO resulting no accounting entries but your can either Consume Consignment Stock with t.code MB1A with movement type 201 K OR Transfer Consignment Stock to Own Stock with t.code MB1B with movement type 411 K
