Hi Gurus,

Somebody please give me business definition of Commitment Line Items in purchase order point of view.

What is significance of Table COOI and fields REFBN --Reference Document Number ?

How does the reference document number differ from Purchase order number or Purchase document number?

Commitments are derived in CO in tables COOI and COSP. The reference number in CO document in COOI is the order number from MM. Commitments are preliminary costs. If you post an invoice or a good receipt (depends on the customizing) you get actual costs on this object and the commitment will be reduced.
