Hi Gurus,

Somebody please give me business definition of Commitment Line Items in purchase order point of view.

What is significance of Table COOI and fields REFBN --Reference Document Number ?

How does the reference document number differ from Purchase order number or Purchase document number?

Commitment item– represent the functional grouping of an organization within a financial management area( FM area).

If Purchase order is have 50 line items and they all commitment line items...Then what does it mean?

DOes it mean Invoice is yet to be done or not?

actually at the time creation of PO in assingment filled they will mainted funds center and commitment item for each line item.

1. fm3i creatin of commitment item

fm2i create funds cenr

frc3 assing funds certer to cost

fs00 chages gls account( creat/bankinterst) in this tab they maintanced commitment item.
