Cannot update. Database or object is read only

Hi Experts,

while importing the chart of accounts for a new database i get "Cannot update. Database or object is read only" error in DTW.

When i accept the error it processes the data without any error and the detailed log is empty:

please help.

Dear Vaibhav,

First make sure that DTW version and OS are on equal bit.. 32bit or 64bit.

and run DTW as administrator to logon into DB.

hope, it would resolve it!

Also make sure that  Data Transfer Workbench directory under C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP has full windows rights..........

"Run As Administrator" need to do that every time with DTW. Good advice!

I'm running the DTW as Administrator but still getting the above error. What could be the issue?
