Billing Document Request creation

Hi gurus,

Is there some sort of an activation to enable scheduling of Billing document request creation for service contracts?

I was able to create BDRs with service contracts for Sales Org 3010, but with it comes to other sales org like 5410, we cannot.

During Simulation, the log here says "3 Billing document requests can be created for 3 service contracts".

But during the actual run, there is no log. Note that they have the same parameters.

Any idea if this is a config related issue?

I don't know why it's happening but I'm suspecting the following : during simulation system only checks the BRL next to be released according with the parameters. Nothing is created. However, when you're executing really the creation of the BDR > system creates documents and there more checks.

In this case, the problem is happening in Sales Organization 5410. I think that system is not determining the plant.

You have two options (configure your solution)

- Add plant to the employee responsible in the contract

-Assign Plant to Country/Region : Sales Organization 5410 is assigned to a country, add a plant to that country

I'm almost sure that this is the cause... Please let us know if this was the problem. Maybe some warning or message could be added...

thanks for the feedback. Next releases ( likely 2108 CE) will generate a log with information about the problem. In this case, system will inform that the Plant is not available.
