Automatic source determination using MRP

Dear all,

Source of supply is missing in PR generated using MRP; source list and contract is valid this month end.

Though PR delivery date is by next month, but release date is immediate. Assumption is system should assign source since source list is valid till this month end. Can one can help on this.

Sundar,

Check whether you have your source list record relevant for MRP and also in the purchasing view of the material maste for field "Source list" check box is active.
