API simulation before commit

Hello,

We are using the APIs to post Journal Entries in S4C, using the "Journal Entry - Post (synchronized)" API. The received file contains several journal entries and we would like to post the journal entires only if they are all ready to be posted.

Is there a possibility using standard S4C APIs to simulate or test the journal entry before to post it?

I know you can simulate the journal entry posting using the app but unfortunately you cannot simulate a posting using the journal entry API.

Hi Marty,

Thank you for this feedback. This means there is no possibility when we receive through interface a file with several journal entries, to commit the posting only if all entries have been tester and validated by the API, correct?
