If I come here with a cup of coffee on a weekend to learn the latest about SAP "gossip" - is that work related or not?

i do have my SAP licenses and certifications to keep up otherwise, mind you.

A bit of update: The latest CAL has almost expired, so no S/4HANA for me for now. BTP Trial is on the 30-day renewal cycle but can be shutdown at any time, if my tribulations with CIS and the open ticket are any indication. Developers page has been upgraded with a multitude of youtube sessions scheduled for 3 months ahead. Seems like a practice for those who will have live sessions in Berlin in the last week of October.

All of those and maybe something else (BAIP?) have made my CAL and BTP submission obsolete or bumped me off the 30 seat allotment for "Lecture-only" pass. Hey, no Vegas baby this year in the Sands as the Connect 2026 seems to be all over the place, so will be a pass for me as such. Virtually everyone is invited to youtube but keep in mind the live sessions may be scheduled around CET so during graveyard shift for those in the U.S.

In any event, everyone enjoy meetings in person or the comments section on youtube. Trying to say away from MSFT LinkedIn as i heard github is losing its open source roots quickly. If you made it this far, don't hesitate to share your Fall 2026 SAP season with the rest of us after a sip or two!
