I work with Joule in ADT almost everyday for Unit test generation. It works wonderfully. But there are few constraints not everyone can understand without experiencing Joule in ADT -

1. When an object (say class) is opened, and we open Joule as a floating window, it automatically text context of the opened class and respond as per the class even when we are asking for some other class information.

2. If we have query regarding local classes or local test classes, unless we specify this, Joule cannot look into them and only cover global class logic.

3. For any topic where Joule cannot help, it gives response as "which object you are referring when asking the question". We cannot answer it as it will consider that answer as next query and if we pick the object from suggested options, then it just explains the object and forget we asked any query above.

4. It is good but not enough to help with ABAP logic. It works best only with Unit tests.

I experienced Joule for Developers in a CodeJam 16 April 2026 conducted by @sheenamk & @Shilpa_Shankar  & March SAP developer Challenge 2026 . It was good exposure to how joule is working with ABAP devs to support as a wingman and reduce the time for deployment.

Yes, I have had the opportunity to experience SAP Joule hands-on both at my organization and during SAP community events by @Shilpa_Shankar @Rekha_DR @sheenamk @shrinivasan_neelamegam @ajay_soreng

At IBM, I have explored Joule for Developers and Joule with SAP Build Code for AI-assisted development and productivity. I have also seen Joule capabilities showcased during SAP events, including SAP Inside Track sessions, where it was integrated with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and Joule Studio. My experience has been that Joule significantly accelerates development, simplifies application creation, and enhances the overall developer experience through AI-powered assistance.

Yes in some Challenges and Now, i'm studying Generative IA Certification

I experienced SAP Joule in several trainings and certifications. Also during taking an the SAP Generative AI Developer Certification, they provide access to SAP Joule for Consultants and it supports me during the certification.

In addition I use SAP Joule for Developers in SAP Business Application Studio and Eclipse for developments. I am right now figuring out how SAP Joule really supports me during my development work in ABAP Cloud (generating Unit Test, Refactoring and so on).

I have been using our internal landscape to create custom Joule Agents and skills in Joule Studio, as well as exploring Joule for Developers to understand how it can improve development within the ABAP Cloud environment.

While the solution still has some areas that can be further enhanced comparing to other tools, it is encouraging to see a strong and ambitious roadmap with many exciting capabilities. I look forward to us, as partners, being able to leverage these new features, develop innovative PoCs and demos, and present them to our customers. This will allow us to showcase the full potential of Joule and accelerate its adoption in real business scenarios.

I am also eager to see the development of Joule for Consultants with landscape awareness. Having an AI assistant that understands the customer's SAP landscape, integrations, and configuration context will be a game changer for consulting activities, enabling faster analysis, more relevant recommendations, and greater overall efficiency.

Yes, I've had the chance to experience Joule hands-on across several touchpoints. My journey started within my own organisation, followed by an SAP virtual event, and then a deeper dive at SAP TechEd. More recently, I've been fortunate to get a Joule enablement project, and I also got hands-on with Joule 2.0 at the SAP NOW Mumbai 2026 event.

It's been great to see how Joule has evolved across these experiences — from the early demos to the latest 2.0 capabilities.

Looking forward to putting this learning into practice on my current project and seeing the impact firsthand.

I have been exploring SAP Joule across different learning resources and hands-on activities, so I already have a good understanding of its capabilities. I know how Joule supports users with AI-powered assistance across SAP applications and helps improve productivity by simplifying business tasks and development workflows. This challenge was a great opportunity to refresh my knowledge and learn more about SAP's vision for the Autonomous Enterprise. I'm looking forward to the upcoming weeks of the Developer Challenge!

Thanks for organizing this challenge! Short, hands-on exercises are a great way to explore new tools without a huge time commitment, especially for developers who want to learn by doing.

I've had the opportunity to use SAP Joule in several contexts—through the SAP Generative AI Developer certification, SAP CodeJam sessions, and customer projects involving SAP BTP and Joule Studio.

I've worked with Joule Studio to build AI skills and agents, explored Joule for Developers to assist with coding and unit test generation, and used Joule for Consultants to better understand business processes and SAP solutions. It's exciting to see how Joule is evolving into a unified AI experience across the SAP ecosystem.

Looking forward to seeing what's coming in the new Joule Studio and continuing this Developer Challenge. Thanks to the SAP Developer Advocates for organizing this series! - Kenzi Sibuma
