xblnr_alt in table bkpf is not updated while using bapi_acc_document_post

Hi Abapers,

xblnr_alt (Alternative Reference Number) in table bkpf is not getting updated while posting vendor invoice using bapi_acc_document_post (called from a zprogram) but getting updated when posting from Tcode - FB60. Do I need to do any special settings or data declarations in bapi_acc_document_post so that xblnr_alt in table bkpf gets updated.

If someone resolved this issue please let me know.
