you mean development class and package. Basically the development class is what we had in earlier releases, which were sort of like packages, but lacked the new funcationlity associated with packages, like package hierarchies and so forth.

do you know if on the system with stack ABAP ( and without stack java ) is possible to use an interface

java based ( like Java Message Service ) ?

Hi Roberto,

I think you have to use SAP XI if you want to integrate a SAP system with only ABAP Stack to a JMS system.

both are one and same.

based on vesrions, they are called with diffferent names.

dev class: upto 4.6 xxx

package: from 4.7xxx

No difference.,

I think from Version 6.10 and later, u201Cdevelopment classu201D has been replaced with u201Cpackageu201D
