Hi,

In prevoius version of SAP, to modify the standard SAP objects we need to use the modification assistant to modify the std code.

Now it has been replaced by BADI and Enhancment implemantation.

The modification assistant is a cut-down version of the SAP editor used when making modifications to SAP delivered objects (either of your own or from SAP notes). It ensures that all code changes are flagged in such a way that when an upgrade or patch is applied the system can attempt to reapply your changes automatically.
