Vertex Implementation

Hi SAP Experts,

My Client is going to implement Vertex for the first time. I want to know what specifications come into the way to do it. Can I get the contact information (Email and Phone) of someone who worked on Vertex implementation in SAP.

Hi Sim,

Vertex implementations do not involve any development. Generally I have seen that vertex is only used for determining Tax Jurisdiction codes based on the address for customers and Calculating taxes. Once the Vertex system is setup it involves 1. Configuring an RFC destination in R/3 for the Vertex system and Couple of configuration steps for FI consultant. It should be up and running.

FYI - My background is that I am a fomer sales/tax auditor that has been implementing Vertex products as a partner consultant for the past 10+ years...
