how to transport variants of a report

Hello,

TO transport the variant to need to name the varaint as &SAPXXX or &CUSXXX.

When u try to sve the variant with this naming convention then the system prompt you ask the TR. To can attach the Variant to TR which can be transported.

Hi Sree,

The Variants are never transported from one server to another.

They always have to be created afresh once the report has been transported from one system to another.

hi Sree,

of course you can transport variants :

SE38 ==> Enter program name

menu: Goto / Variants

menu: Utilities / Transport request

select variants you want to transport (or leave field empty if you want all)

Execute

In the popup you have to mark the variants you want to transport, system will ask for transport request number

Goto se 38,

give report name and select variant radio button.

click dsplay and select ur variant.

Menu bar -- Utilities> Transport request.
