Using Ixos

Hi guys,

I have totally no idea on how to integrate ixos in SAP.

I need to use ixos to store photo for employee. Can anyone explain how should i start it?

Yes, i have viewed those link. but it doesn't solve my doubts.

I would like to know what are the steps in order to store the photos or other document using IXOS. AND, after storing, is there any prerequisite setting that must be done in SAP before i can retrieve photos that i have saved earlier?

Hi Lesley,

Using IXOS to store document, these are the 3 important step required:

1. OAC0 to create the logical archive which build the connection to the archive server

2. OAC2 to create document type

3. OAC3 to link the document type, object type & logical archive
