User and system time zone

Hi,

We have a SAP systems in diffrent time zones . Development at one time zone , QA and Prod at another time zone .

Now my question is do we need to maintain all the systems across the landscape would have to maintain same time zone ?

Or Country specific time zones?

Should i maintained User time zone and System time zone both should same time zone ?

because users are diffrent locations how should i maintaind ?

Please suggest.

this is an interesting question. I'm not sure if it's in the correct forum as it is a basis question but I don't know where it belongs either. Maybe you should post the same question in the technologies and database forums and see which gives the best response. Good luck.

Anyway, I think that the time zone for the system should be set to the one which has the most users in it.

good

you have to do the country specific time zone.you have to set that configuraion in the sap system, and this work is done by the BASIS people,

besially when we are transporting any report to different time zone than it should be automatically taken care of, so in our(development)zone we have to do the set up accordingly.So that when we transport a object from our time zone it should be automatically convert to there time zone.
