Uploading Flat file from an internal table without Header

Hi All,

I am facing a problem.

I am using GUI_UPLOAD to upload tab delimited file into an internal table TBL_UPLOAD.

The flat file is having 6 fields with the header.

e.g. flat file structure

Vendor Material Porg plant DelTime PurGroup

130117 99474 8300 8340 10 100

I want to remove that header line while uploading the file to internal table.

How to do that?

hiiii

you can process on internal tabel like using

DELETE it_tablename INDEX 1.

it will delete data from index 1.so header will be removed.

Hi

In GUI_Upload In importing Part there is a paramerter called Header , make that one as a comment, do not pass any value there.

you will upload file without header.

As the data types of those fields are different, Uplaod will get failed because of the header.

Hi,

If flat file has header line...then I want to delete the same or if does not then nothing to do....just uplaod the file....
