Hi all,
is it possible to have same object id in OM (HRP1000) as well as in PA (PERNR)?
For ex:
Object Type: O (org unit)
Object Id: 00000041
and
Pernr: 00000041
Please clarify it.
If not then what do we do for maintaining the unique ids.
Points will be rewarded for helpful answers with examples.
Thanks,
James

Hi James
You can maintain the same number ranges for both OM and PA. Number ranges in OM is defined for different object types i.e. OTYPE field in HRP1000, this can be done in the tcode "OONR". But the number ranges for PA i.e. for the employee numbers is maintained in PA04 tcode. Generally Personnel numbers number range i.e for Object type "P" is not maintained in OM, it will be maintained in PA.
