Unicode conversion

Hi, i have two internal tables and i need to transfer unicode compliant data into a non-unicode one. There are additional characters added to unicode compliant one but the structures look alike and give a dump when transfer attempted. How can unicode data be converted to bytes format ? Look forward to an answer.

Hi Neeraj,

SAP is backwards compatible. But your requirement is to change unicode data into non-unicode format.

I dont think this is possible.
