FROM WHICH FUNCTI0N MODULE WE CAN TRUNCATE .

INPUT - > ABCDEFGH

OUTPUT - > ABCDE

IT'S URGENT,

Hi,

You can use offset as below

Data: INPUT(10) TYPE C,

OUTPUT(5) TYPE C.

INPUT = 'ABCDEFGH'.

OUTPUT = INPUT+0(5). " OUTPUT WILL BE 'ABCDE'.
