trouble implementing OSS note

I am trying to apply the OSS note through SNOTE.

I am in the 4.6C. When I implement it , I get an error "No log exists for SAP note

Hi Ramana,

First you need to download the SAP Notes and check if it has status "Can be Implemented" then only you can go ahead and implement.

Please let me know if further details are required from my side.

I first tried to down load then only I got this error.

check if this is note is for your version or higher version.. I doubt this note is not for ur version.

Hi Ramana,

There is one correction for release 46C in this Note. Could you please do one thing and let me know the result.

Step 1: Go to the transaction: SNOTE.

Step 2: press <CTRL>+F9 or Goto -> SAP Note Browser.

Step 3: On the Screen give the SAP Note Number: 816931 and execute.

Step 4: You will see an output/or some message.

Let me know what is the result.

By the by did you try to download the SAP Notes in the Development Client or in the Test client.

First we have to make sure that The note we are trying to Implement is applicable for our release.

Have a look at the mentioned note in www.service.sap.com/notes

Check for <b>Releases</b>

Check for <b>Highest Implemented Support Package</b>

If your system has got same or higher level of support pack than mentioned here. Then This SAP note is already implemented or not Required.

If you can provide the SAP Note Number, I can help you by checking the same. Please check your Support pack level in System--> Status.

the note number is 816931 and I checked the support packages.

they are like this...

Release : 46C

Highest Implemented Support Package : 46C - SAPKH46C49

My system status shows packages till SAPKH46C40.

I am not able to know what is the issue

Hi Ramana,

I tried downloading this SAP Note in 3 systems and it got downloaded. All the systems were above release 4.7 . I am sorry to say, i am unable to replicate the scenario.

As a final call please try to check if the changes specified in this note are already there in your system.
