triggering workflow for purchase order change

workflow triggers when ever purchase order is changed.

in this scenario i have used condition step. i.e

if the purchase order creator and purchase order changer are different then send a mail to po creater.

i created one container element in workflow as creater of type workflow initiator.

in event container agent : evt_creator binded to wf_initiator

evt_creater -

---

> wf_intiator ( po changer)

? -

---

>creator (po creator)

i should check condition like this creator = wf_intiator

if both are same no need to send a mail

if both are different i should send a mail to pocreator: po is changed

what i required is?

which is the event parameter that contains pocreater in this scenario?

if evt_creator contains the po creator name then which parameter contain po changer name?

kindly give me the information regarding this.

Hi Sunil,

The container evt_creator doesn't contain the PO creator or PO changer name. But it simply contains the name of the person who triggered the event. For Your scenario you can take the PO creator name from PO table EKKO-ERNAM and compare it when the changed event occurs with the value in the container evt_creator.

To get the name from the table create a custom attribute in BO BUS2012.

Then compare and proceed with the scenario as per your requirement.
