Hi,

If you want to release the configuration date to target client then you need to select release tab or if if you want to modify then you can select modifiable tab while transporting the configuration or custamisation through either SE09 or SE10.

Thanks,

Vasu..

Hi,

Transprort Request are the buses used to transport you customizaiton setting from one server to another in your landscape

Example:- you do your configuration settings in development box and test it and save in request. then you release the request using SE10 to your quality box. there also you will test all the scenario. if all the things are going fine then you will transport same request to produciton.

1) Customizing requests :

Changes to Customizing settings are recorded in

Customizing requests.

2) Workbench requests :

Workbench requests record changes made to ABAP Workbench objects.

3) Transport of Copies :

Transports of copies allow you to transport (sub-)objects

in an object list into any other SAP System you want.

You can look at this link. It gives a very detailed description.

Hi,

modifiable request is , the request still in use i.e you can make changes to the objects under this request

released reuest is the rquest which is released i.e you can't make any chages to the objects under it, if you want to do any changes you have to assign those objects to another request,

Sre
