Hi,
My requirement is to transport one infoset and a query to quality. Infoset and query are availble in the standard area.
I went to tcode sq02. Initial display is with query area "Global Area". I clicked on truck button to transport a infoset and a query associated with it. Intial display of the "Sap Query Transport tool" is Transport action radio button selected "Copy Standard area-->Global Area. I removed the check box for "text run". I check the radio button "Transport infoset and queries". I entered my infoset name and query name in respective fields and clicke on execute. It automatically created a transport request.
I checked the request. It has table contents "AQTDB" and AQrequestnumber *.
I released the request.
Now my doubt is whether the infoset and query is available in the transport request or not?
Now how to get imported this into quality?
Thanks in advance.

hi Prasad,
you are on the right track, that is the way to do it. Now import your transport into the target system (like any other transport request) after that start the same program in the target system and instead of choosing export, choose import, add the number of the transport request and your infoset and query will be imported.
hope this helps

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Please note that in the initial screen of the "Sap Query transport tool" i don't find any "export" radio button available. I have the radio button "Copy Standard area-->Global Area". I checked this radio button, checked "transport infoset and queries" radio button, entered the infoset and query name in the respective fields and executed. I got the transport number as discussed.
Now my question y i didn't get the export radio button in the initial display of the "Query transport tool". Because of not displaying the export radio button can in now import the request in the target system?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Eric,
But i already got the transport request and also i released the request. Now how can i start the program you mentioned? I wonder y there is no export/import radio buttons. I only have radio buttons for "Copy global area>standard and Copy standard area>Global area.

the complete procedure:
in source system:
1. start program RSAQR3TR (from SE38), option Export, creates transport request automaticaly
2. release the transport request
BASIS:
3. import the transport request into target system
in target system:
4. start program RSAQR3TR (from SE38), option Import, enter transport request number and Execute
If my understanding is right you have done step 1 (or probably step 2 or 3 as well). Anyway you know what you have done and you have to follow from the step which was not done.

Hi Prasad,
Yes they are available in TR.
Ask your basis to import TR into QAS.And now in QAS follow the same approch and import them.

HI Prasad,
Login to target client.. say quality or production
Use transaction STMS.
It will list the client
Double click on your target client
It will list all the transport number
Select your transport number & click Import
Once imported, it will show status as completed.
Best regards,
Prashant
