Hello Everybody
There is a 'Z' DataBase table already existing in production, with contents.
Now i have to include a new field in that table.
As new field is not a primary key, i had added a new field in development
and even after activation, contents of table are existing in development.
Now i have to transport that modified table into production,
I am afraid, what will be the circumstances after transportation.
Because , Data contents of that table in production are very important.
Contents should not be deleted after transportation.
Can any one explain me what happens, after i transport latest version of that table to PRD.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ravi

Hi,
in case you just add new column into your Z table then you will just get this new table in production as well. You will not lose any data from this table. Anyway, you can backup this table before transporting your changes to production to be 100% sure. Just ask your administrators for help with this transport.
Cheers
