translating text elements

Hi Experts,

I am trying to translate the text element/text symbols in an ABAP object class.

I am in SAP version 4.6C. When I try to do that from the tcode se24, I get an message "Go to se63 for translations".

I went to se63 and into the menu path:

Translation->short Texts-> ABAP -> Classes/Interfaces.

Then I gave my class name and the source and target languages.

Then I clicked on the translate button and went inside.

There I am not able to see any of the text elements that have created for the class.

Please help me solve this issue.

Ohh Sorry I'm ECC.Okay Can you let me for which class you are trying to translate?If this is not custome class.

se63>Translation-> ABAP Objects-> short Texts->Open tree S6 >Choose Classes>Give source/Target Lang>Edit>Ok>Than Choose(Db click) The Perticuler Componet For which you are trying to Translation.

Hi Amit,

I dont see the menu option "Open Tree S6" in the short text.

Please explain this.

It is a customer class

Once you Press Edit Button and found yourself in next screen where you are Changing the text,here After changing the text click on Pencil Button and Than "Confirm translation."
