TPSSHT01 extension

I have creates an extension to idoc TPSSHT01, and a new message type. I have assigned this message type thru we57, but standard function IDOC_INPUT_SHIPPL does not take this message type into account.

Any help? Must I create a new FM ? Can this standard FM be used with a new message type?

Try to use transaction WE42 and create a process code (if not found for), using your IDOC_INPUT_SHIPPL and in WE20 assign this process code to your message type
