Testing ALE Interface

Hi Friends,

How do we test ALE Interface.

Please provide me with stpes for configuring the ALE Interface for SAP-SAP,SAP-Non SAP scenarios on Outbound & Inbound Systems.

After configuring,How do we send the data.

Hi Annapurna,

You need to follow these steps to SAP-SAP

Goto SALE transaction..

create logical system ( if not existed )

assign that logical system name to your client.

create RFC destination for ( SAP-Sender to SAP-Reciver system..vice versa)

create port

create partner profile of Type Logical system

and

finally create Distribution Model to send Idoc data..

SAP-Non SAP

partner profile step of Type File ..

and

no need of bothering Logical systems

remaining is same above configuration will do the work ..
