TABLE XX is inconsistent in active version when activating structure

I have z table with 634 columns.

I extended the include structure of this table from 50 fields to 200 fields and when I activate the structure, I get error TABLE XX is inconsistent in active version when activating structure.

When I return back to 50 fields, I get no error. I then tried to extend it step by step, and I found out then the error occurs when the number of columns exceeds 756.

I tried SE14, to activate and adjust table but not helps. I can activate table, but structure remains partly active. and when I activate structure again, the table becomes partly active...

I didn't find any sap note about limit on table.

You are on HANA database ?

Why do you speak about structure & table ? the table contains structure ? or did you speak about structure of the table ?

Did you check the log of the SE14 ?

I have found that there is limit 749 on Data Store Object - DSO which is used in BW. But I do not know how this relates to normal database table .

I think the limit is 749 columns starting from ABAP 6.20 up to ? (and you have other limits). See notes 355898 / 1354957 for limits, possibly ABAP doc.

If possible do the full system restart and then try again in the same option it may go thru.
