Hello All,
I am working on a 3 landscape system. D, Q and P.
I have created a table in D sytem. This table should be maintained ( using Table Maintenace Generator ) only in D system, not in Q and P systems.
Could you please tell me how to do this.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Sasidhar Reddy Matli.

Create the table in system D without TMG, transport it to Systems Q & P.
Now create TMG in system D and save as local.

Hello,
If i had the same requirement, i will make the table entries transportable.
For this you have to select the "Standard Recording Routine" radio-button in your TMG & regenerate your it.
Hope this helps.

Hello Suhas,
Thanks for your reply.
Even if i select standard record routine in TMG to make transportable entries, we still can maintain the table in Q system using SM30. I dont want to maintain the table using Q and P systems.

the "standard recording routine" should work.Anyways, you can try one more thing. In PBO of your screen, you can code that if client is not 'D',loop through screen and make screen fields uneidtable.

Check If this is possible.
Create a seperate maintenance view for this table, also create Table Maintenance generator for this newly created Maintenace view. And make sure you dont transport this to QAS/PRD system

Hello,
You can create a transaction code for maintaining the table. Then the basis team can maintain the restriction on this transaction.
Hope this helps.
