Table maintenance generator

Through screen maintenance when I'm trying to create entries in a table it is giving Dynpro_syntax_error,saying screen "saplzhrpf" 0004 could not be generated.

Please help me ASP.

Delete the table maintainence generator via SE11->Utilities->Table Maintainence generator and regenerate ..

Please check whether you have followed below steps while creating Table Maintenance Generator:

Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities> Table maintenance generator.

In the table maintenance generator screen, we should give Authorization Group, Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name - You can create this usinf SE80), Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually we will create with one step. we should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button, a table maintenance generator will be created.

To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, we find display, Maintain options.We can view the table contents by choosing Display and we can create table entries by choosing Maintain.

Dear Mahantesh,

I 've created it through se11,table maintenance generator,previously it was working fine,I've deleted one field now and adjust the database.Now the sm30-table name-display is also giving the error

"Syntx error or generation error in a screen".

Please check it.

In that case, you need to delet the existing tabel maintenance generator and create it once again. As you have changed the table you need to regenerate the Table Maintenance.

Hi ,

Whenever any changes are made to the table ( if the table has table maintenance generator) then you have to delete and create the table maintenance generator.
