Table Maintenance Error

Friends,

I created a customized table and when I try to populate the table using SM30, I am getting the error message u201C The maintenance dialog for <tablename> is incomplete or note definedu201D

Hi,

You need to create the table maintenance.

From SE11 -> select Utilities -> Table maintenance generator -> Enter a authorization grp or &NC&.

Enter any 'Z function grp, this can be the name of the table itself.

Mention any number for the screens. Save and assign to any package.

Now using Sm30 you can add values into the table.

goto se14

put ur table name EDIT it and then click on Activate and adjust database button and

then

go to se11

then

->change

-> Utilities -> table maintainence generator ->create

hi,

You need to create the table maintenence genrator for that.

click on ' utilities' >> table maintenence genrator >> give authorizaton group name , let say &NC& >> give function group name , let say same name as your table name >>give maintenence type as ' one step' >> overview screen as '0001' >> now click on ' Create' or F6 >> save it as local object

now you can run SM30 for creating new entries.

hi,

first you have to create table maintenance generator then u can create entry in table using sm30.

go to se16 give name of table for which you have to make enteries. then go to utilities then select table maintenace generator.

se16>>table name>>utilities>>table maintenance generator

Hi,

There can be few reasons for this error either u have not created table mainetance generator or if u have created u haven't saved or terminated before complete creation of TMG .

so u first create TMG for that in se11 goto utilities then there table maintenace generator then in that

give table /view name : Ztable name same name in function group.then fill all fields there according to ur requirnment . and then press F6 and after 100% completion save it.

now go to sm30 and press maintain and u can enter ur data there and save it.
