TABL VBAP is inconsistent in active version

Hi All,

I added a new append to table VBAP (with include structure) & activated table with save data (SE14), the table status is active, the append status is active but include structure is partially active and below is the activation log.

TABL VBAP is inconsistent in active version

Check table VBAP

Table VBAP is too long (>1962)

Anyone exp. with similar issue ?

Apparently there is a restriction in the total length of (certain) tables. That's what the long text of the message says:

Short Text                                                                                
Table & is too long (>&)                                                                                
Diagnosis                                                                                
The sum of the field lengths of the table fields is too large.                                                                                
Procedure                                                                                
If the table activation program delivered the message as an error,       
    remove fields from the table or shorten the field lengths. If the        
    message is delivered as a warning the active version already exceeds the 
    specified limit.  

In order to solve the problem you have to remove fields from your include structure.

Can Basis set (increase) this limit ?. Any alternative solution other than deleting fields ?
