System does not support Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools

Hi all,

        I know many people in this space are trying to get the eclipse connected to your SAP system . I suppose my system is missing some of the settings in the SICF transaction.

In the document it says that I need to activate the service.

But I do not have this service. I have it as,

Under bc I do not have the ABAP. So I am unable to activate this service.

While establishing a connection to this system through eclipse I get the below error.

I am unable to resolve this.

*Note: The system I am using is IDES accessed via VMware Workstation .

What is your SAP version? You need 7.4, 7.31 or 7.03 on a high SP level.

           Version is 7.0
