SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED runtime Error

HI all,

when ever a file called core is creating in the path <b>/usr/sap/PRD/D11/work</b>

I'm getting a dump called SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED and the background jobs running on this server are cancelling.

This is happening very frequently like in seconds.

Can I anyone help me in this regard.

How can I restrict this.

Hi Raja,

You are getting core dumps because of a fault in the system. You need to find out what is causing it. What is the program generating the error? In SM21 can you get any idea as to what is causing the problem? Have you changed the kernel recently?

You have a fundamental problem which needs addressing. Once this is done then the core dumps will stop.

we have recently upgraded our database to 10g....

from that time v r facing this problem
