What is the difference between the sy-tabix & sy-index ?

Hi manjunath,
1. sy-tabix = Itab TABLE Index
is for LOOP at ITAB (where internal tables are used)
2. where sy-index is generally for DO..LOOP kind of things
ie. simple loops without using internal table

Sy-index: It is a loop index. In DO and WHILE loops, contains the number of the loop passes including the current pass.
Sy-tabix: it is a table index. Last addressed line of a standard table or sorted table.
